New to Her

Took a walk today with G and brought the camera along. Stopped to take a picture of my friends' house. First I took photos of the front of the house, but the lighting was much better around the back (with the sun behind me). Their tree is in full bloom, which is lovely. They aren't home because their baby girl, Juniper, was just born yesterday.

{Photo notes: I didn't notice that my white balance was set to 'cloudy' - oops. I had it metering for the whole frame, and the f/stop was f/13. The shutter speed was 1/100. The ISO was set at Lo 1 and I have it set to underexpose a full stop...for some reason, unless I do the exposure compensation, all my shots seem to get overexposed, even when the light meter says it is exposing properly. Focal length of 17mm}
